Key vocabulary

• complementary angles: two angles whose measures add to 90°
• supplementary angles: two angles whose measures add to 180°
• vertical angles: the angles across from each other where two lines cross; they are equal
• parallel lines: lines in the same plane that never meet
• transversal: a line that crosses two or more other lines

Tips for using the game

• One floor per relationship: Floor 1 complementary, 2 supplementary, 3 vertical, 4 corresponding and alternate interior, 5 co-interior. Floor 6, the Algebra Vault, is all small equations like x + 3 (7.G.B.5).
• The answer aims the laser: the laser fires at exactly the angle a student types, so a wrong answer visibly misses, and the steps to solve it are shown.
• The math changes the sneak: each missed panel adds trouble (an extra camera, sharper guards, darkness, tripwires, more guards and an alarm clock). Students can redo missed questions any time with the R key, three catches after a miss sends them back to the questions, and 0 of 3 right means redoing all three before the sneak.
• Stars measure the math: one star for each panel answered right on the first try.
• Practice drills any mix of relationships with no guards or timer.
